Gold Coast local Kian Purtle has been brought up with a love for art and the natural environment. Since childhood he has been a beachgoer, spending most weekends enjoying a surf, swim or a skate. This inspired Kian's passion for conservation and he has volunteered numerous times with marine debris expeditions both locally and on islands in the Great Barrier Reef. Now at the age of 16, having honed his artistic skills and being drawn to sustainable fashion, Kian is ready to launch his first collection as a "Young Gun" designer with Panamuna Project. He is looking forward to sharing his love of the ocean and surfing through his wearable artwork.
